The Endurance Coach Lanzarote Triathlon Training Camp

February 16th 23rd 2019

Join us for a coached triathlon week in Lanzarote, aimed at those who are racing half or full Ironman distance triathlon. The camp will be swim and bike focused, with 1-2-1 coaching available throughout the week. The sample weekly timetable is below, scroll down to read more, including prices.

9am Ironman Bike Course 112 miles (option to cut short) with café stop at Jonnie Bakes

1pm Cycle Playa Blanca Loop 50 miles or short recovery ride after yesterday

Short brick run 20 minutes to follow bike

23rd Saturday

7:30-9:00am Pool Swim

 

*This is the template for the week, but may change
*All of the cycling will be done at a steady pace with the focus on zone 1 base / foundation
*For the longer rides (full Ironman route) there will be a ‘cut off option’
*You do not need to do all of the sessions, but all of the above will be available
*All of the
swim sessions listed are structured ‘pool training’ sessions as opposed to stroke tuition *Additional swim 1-2-1 or small group coaching / video analysis will be available on any of the days with the coach and this will be free of charge. You simply need to book a time slot at the beginning of the week

*The camp is based on arrival Saturday 16th and departing Saturday 23rd *You will need to arrange your own flights and transfers
*If you’d like to stay longer, we can arrange for extra nights
*Family rooms, single rooms or other combinations are available

*You need to be a competent cyclist, capable of riding 50 miles in hilly and windy conditions at an average pace of 15-16mph + (please message us if you are unsure)

Pricing based on 2 people sharing a twin / double room

£900 for a double room / £450 per person for the week, half board, to include all pool hire and coaching costs. Half board includes your breakfast and your evening meals, both are self-service in their restaurant with a wide range of all you can eat options. We stayed there twice last year and the food was fantastic. There is a large supermarket next door to the hotel, for lunch foods and other snacks. A family room for 2 adults and 2 children will be £1200 half board, other room options are available. There are smaller children’s pools (temperature dependent!) and a children’s club / activities at the hotel. You need to book and pay for your own flights and transfers, the hotel is only 10 - 15 mins drive from the hotel.

£200 non-refundable deposit is required per person to secure a place, full payment must be made by 10th January. For family rooms, £500 deposit required.
