TES Trail Team Tackle Parbold Hill Race

Following their mediocre performances at the Grizedale Trail 26 race, our intrepid trail team continued their North West tour, with the classic Parbold Hill Race, Saturday 11th Feb. They had low expectations and they failed to disappoint. Our correspondent Richard Bardon tells the story in his own words... The Endurance Store Trail Race team were out in numbers at the Parbold Hill Race on Saturday. This is one of the best races locally, just short of 7 miles of hills and plenty of mud. TES Trail Team Tackle Grizedale Trail 26

The TES Trail Team made the trip to Grizedale Forest for the Montane Trail 26 season opener. It's always a popular event and the boys had low expectations, which matched their ability. Two races in one day.... how hard can it be?

On Saturday 14th January, the TES Trail Team (or at least 2 members) attempted to race Ashurst Beacon Race at 12:30pm and then the Petzl Night Runner at 7:00pm. TES Trail Runner Tackle Grizedale Night Runner

Richard Bardon and Dan Miller made the trek to Grizedale for the festive Petzl night runner and came back with some prizes! Written by Richard Bardon:The excuses started early. I picked up Dan and as soon as the door was closed there was an over-powering smell of Deep Heat. Dan then explained he had a 'hurry' knee and wasn't sure how he would get on. We arrived and registered and then went for a warm up. Conditions were ideal and we were soon lining up ready to start, to the sounds of a local brass band playing Christmas carols. There...

Challenge Roth Race Report, by TES Member Tim Riding

Challenge Roth is one of the world's bucket list iron distance triathlon events. This year, a group of super fit HUBsters made the trip, Tim Riding reports. With near perfect conditions forecast and the promise of tumbling world records, the pressure was on to pull out something big at Challenge Roth. Sadly, however, as that was not an option for me, Claire and I decided to target a solid race performance instead. A little extra spice was added to the event with the ‘2 up challenge’ against fellow Roth competitors Steve Legge and Frank Burrell, and Team Pie aces Wayne...
